In 2019, the EAPM launched International HR Day on 20 May to recognise and celebrate the profession. It has grown each year since, become more global, and moved to a digital format during the pandemic. We encourage professional bodies, companies and individuals to join in this special day to showcase what we stand for as a profession.
The International HR Day working group was created in order to coordinate and promote the 20 May each year as International HR Day. On 20 May we will recognise the profession, the work that we do and our positive contribution for individuals and organisations, on a national and international scale.
#InternationalHRDay provides an opportunity to:
- Recognise HR and people practices at an individual, company, national and international level
- Publicise the significant contribution the HR and people profession is making right now
- Showcase how we work across boundaries though EAPM to develop thinking and practice
