The EAPM has set up Working Groups to support and drive its strategic objectives. Each Working Group has a lead as well as a Board sponsor who jointly take responsibility for and oversees their specific group. EAPM Members have the opportunity to nominate individuals within their Association to contribute to and support the generation of valuable outputs. Working group members may possess specialised knowledge or experience, or they may simply be keen on acquiring new skills.
Each working group operates with a defined mandate and timeframe for achieving outcomes, which is mutually agreed upon by the Board and the Working Group lead. Regular progress updates are provided during Board meetings and Delegate briefings.
Currently, the EAPM Board is supported by six Working Groups:
Affiliate Membership
Alternative Income Streams
Awards
Communications
European Union
Finance Governance
Member events strategy
International HR Day
Surveys and insights
Some of these working groups have been established for a specific purpose e.g. to deliver a project and have a limited timeframe and a clear mandate for activity. Others will have an annual cycle and so will be on-going.
Our working groups are closely linked to the UN Sustainable Development Goals which promote strategies that build economic growth and address a range of social needs including education, health, social protection, and job opportunities, while tackling climate change and environmental protection.
