As with many other multi-national Associations, we have learned that some agenda items are more productive in-person. The EAPM Board took full advantage of the collaboration opportunities by focusing much of the meeting on re-aligning its strategy, vision and values as well as strengthening ways of working and stengthening psychological safety within the Board.

We are delighted to announce that Berna Oztinaz from PERYÖN Turkey has begun her three-year tenure as EAPM President. Berna has been a Board member of the EAPM since 2020 and was elected as Vice-President in 2023.

Each year we invite Delegates from the 35 European HR Associatons that form EAPM membership together for a hybrid Annual Meeting. This year, we were hosted in Lisbon by APG Portugal as part of their HR Week.

On Friday, 20 October, EAPM Delegates were invited to attend the annual conference of APG - Associação Portuguesa de Gestão das Pessoas. Four of our Board Members, Even Bolstad, Berna Oztinaz, David Ducheyne and Solveiga Grudiene were invited to speak on a panel. David summarised the annual conference and highlighted the myriad of insights that speakers from various countries gave.
