The WFPMA holds a World Congress on Personnel Management and Development every two years.
The next world conference will be held in Melbourne, Australia from 25th - 28th September A message from Pieter Haen, past President of EAPM and Secretary General of WFPMADear all, Against a background of tumultuous economic events being played out in Europe and the United States, 2012 is shaping as a year that’s likely to present an abundance of challenges to people and business. In these circumstances, I propose that the forthcoming 2012 World HR Congress to be held in Melbourne Australia on 26-27 September will be a timely opportunity for your members to compare notes with HR peers and colleagues, both regional and global. As the nominated host of the World HR Congress through the WFPMA, the Australian Human Resources Institute has named the event HRIZON and developed its theme around the idea of ‘New World Thinking’. I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to support HRIZON and advocate the merits of the event to your members. In a spirit of mutual benefit, AHRI is proposing two ways for both your members and your association to prosper from participation in HRIZON:
AHRI has created a toolkit that includes registration instructions and a helpful set of promotional materials that can be viewed here www.hrizon.com.au/wfpmatoolkit. I strongly encourage you to make full use of these to publicise HRIZON. If you require any other materials tailored to your specifications or branding, the marketing team in Melbourne can assist, so please ask. Best regards and see you in Melbourne!
