In memoriam Dr. Pal Boday
Dear Colleagues,
It is my sad duty to inform you that Dr. Pal Boday, President and founding member of the Hungarian Association for Human Resources Management OHE has passed away on 26th July 2010.
Dr. Pal Boday was the inspiring president and leader of the Hungarian OHE from the start of OHE in 1990, always promoting the Human Resources profession and persuing the goal of improving the quality of HR management and developing and improving professional standards. Dr Pal Boday was actively leading the Hungarian OHE as a full and highly valued member into the EAPM. By doing so, he was leading the example for other Middle- and Eastern European HR Associations and he accompanied and supported many of these associations to become a member of EAPM.
He was always promoting strong leadership and the exchange of best practises in Europe...

New President & Vice-President
During its last conference in Amsterdam on June 11th, 2009, the EAPM (European Association for People Management) elected its new President, Pieter Haen, President-Founder of Duurstede Consulting Group in the Netherlands and its new Vice-President, Kim Staack Nielsen, Chairman of the Human Resources Association PID in Denmark.

On June 11th at the next assembly of delegates of EAPM (European Association for People Management) in Amsterdam and The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) unveiled the conclusions of their 2009 marketing study “Creating People Advantage in the Crisis and beyond”.
