The EAPM is governed by a Delegates Assembly comprising of one representative from each Full Member Association. The Delegates Assembly approves the EAPM Statutes which alongside the EAPM Regulations, form the governing documents of the EAPM and aim to promote transparency, participation and efficiency within the organisation. On joining the EAPM, Members commit to upholding and maintaining the standards and behaviours set out in the EAPM Code of Professional Conduct.
The Delegates Assembly comprises of one member per full member organisation, and is the supreme body of the Association. It determines the EAPM’s policies, strategies and plans, while also electing the EAPM Board members. Its annual meeting is usually a hybrid event hosted by one of the EAPM Member Associations.
The Board is the executive body of the EAPM compromising of 9 elected members. The current board comprises of the President, Vice-President, Treasurer, five additional board members, as well as the Head of Secretariat in a non-voting role. The Board, along with the support from the EAPM Secretariat, conducts the daily business of the Association and serves as an advisory body.
CIPD UK host the EAPM Secretariat function which is lead by Rebecca Normand, a non-voting ex-officio EAPM Board member who is the Head of the EAPM Secretariat and reports directly into the President of the EAPM.
The Board have established various Working Groups, which are formed in order to help support the strategic goals and objectives of the EAPM. Any EAPM Member may nominate individuals from its National Association to participate in these Working Groups.
Currently, there are six Working Groups which help promote and support the work of the EAPM Board:
